Responsibilities:

•  Cloud Solution Design: Architect and design cloud solutions, considering scalability, high availability, security, and cost optimization, with a focus on Kubernetes, Serverless, and API technologies.
•  Kubernetes Management: Set up, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting of containerized applications.
• Serverless Architecture: Design and implement Serverless architectures using platforms like AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or Google Cloud Functions, ensuring optimal utilization of cloud resources and cost efficiency.
• API Development: Design and develop APIs, adhering to best practices and standards, for seamless integration and communication between different systems and services.
• Infrastructure as Code: Develop infrastructure automation and deployment scripts using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to create reproducible and scalable cloud environments.
• Cloud Resource Management: Optimize cloud resource allocation, monitoring, and utilization to ensure efficient and cost-effective use of cloud services.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in cloud-based deployments and API development.
• Troubleshooting and Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, containerized applications, Serverless functions, and API performance, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver effective cloud solutions and APIs.
• Stay Current with Technology Trends: Keep up to date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies, Kubernetes, Serverless architectures, and API development. Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance cloud capabilities and API integrations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, Serverless architectures, and API development.  Proficiency in API development using frameworks and tools like REST, GraphQL, Node.js, or Python.
• Expertise in designing and implementing Serverless architectures using platforms like AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or Google Cloud Functions.  Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, and storage concepts.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, utilizing tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and scripting tasks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise explanations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect, are highly desirable.
