Role OverviewÂ
We are seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Lead to support the sales team by providing technical expertise, solution design, and strategic guidance during the sales cycle. The role involves understanding client requirements, mapping them to cybersecurity solutions, conducting product demonstrations, and working closely with internal teams to drive successful deal closures.Â
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge in cybersecurity solutions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for clients.Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
1. Pre-Sales Support
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and business challenges.Â
- Design and propose suitable cybersecurity solutions aligned with client needs.Â
- Support the sales team in technical discussions, presentations, and solution positioning.Â
2. Client Engagement
- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) for prospective clients.Â
- Address client queries related to solution architecture, implementation, and integration.Â
- Participate in client meetings to build confidence in proposed solutions.Â
3. Solution Design
- Develop solution architectures and technical proposals for cybersecurity offerings.Â
- Work closely with delivery and engineering teams to ensure feasibility and alignment.Â
- Customize solutions based on client infrastructure and security requirements.Â
4. Proposal & Documentation
- Prepare RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, technical documentation, and solution proposals.Â
- Assist in preparing commercial proposals in coordination with the sales team.Â
- Maintain a repository of technical documentation and solution templates.Â
5. Market & Product Knowledge
- Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.Â
- Provide insights to sales and product teams regarding market demands.Â
- Support the development of sales enablement materials such as presentations and case studies.Â
6. Leadership & Coordination
- Lead and mentor junior pre-sales or solution engineering team members.Â
- Coordinate with internal teams including sales, product, delivery, and marketing.Â
- Ensure alignment between client requirements and technical capabilities.Â
Required QualificationsÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fieldÂ
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, CISM, or equivalent (preferred)Â
ExperienceÂ
- 10-15Â years of experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, or cybersecurity consultingÂ
- Experience supporting enterprise cybersecurity solutions and sales cyclesÂ
- Prior experience in client-facing technical rolesÂ
Required SkillsÂ
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity domains (SOC, SIEM, VAPT, Threat Intelligence, etc.)Â
- Ability to create technical solution architecturesÂ
- Strong presentation and client engagement skillsÂ
- Experience with RFP/RFI responses and technical documentationÂ
- Excellent communication and stakeholder managementÂ
- Ability to translate technical solutions into business valueÂ
Preferred SkillsÂ
- Experience in managed security services (MSSP) or cybersecurity consultingÂ
- Exposure to cloud security, network security, and compliance frameworksÂ
